(2) We must wipe out the Chinese Communists in order to

realize the desires of our late President for placing

the Nation under the administration of our Party.

(3) We must wipe out the Chinese Communists in order to

promote the welfare of the peasants and workmen, to

render them support and to carry out the agrarian and

labour policy of our late President.

(4) We must wipe out the Chinese Communists in order to

accomplish the National Revolution and to secure freedom

and equality for China.

(5) We must wipe out the Chinese Comminists in order to

develop early the World Revolution.

Let me enlarge on the first reason. A party has its own

principles and its own President. He is the highest and

paramount authority in the Party; six the highest no one

else may offer any insolence to him whatever. Our Kuomintang

owes its existence entirely to our late President, and to the

principles expressed in his "Three Aspects of Democracy". How

have the Communists treated our late President and his princi-

ples? They have libelled our President with the charge of not

being a sufficiently radical revolutionist, and his principles

as being mere pleading in the interests of capitalists, not

those of a revolutionary political party. They have thus

apread all sorts of libels, and done us every mischief. Not

only have they deframed the character of our President, but

have also run counter to his principles. All their intrigues

are intended radically to wipe our Kuomintang out of existence.

Wherefore the comrades of our Kuomintang and faithful

followers of our late President have relentlessly proceeded to

purge the Kuomintang of the Communist elements.

I will now enlarge on the 4th reason. Our National

Revolution aims at freedom and equality for China. To achieve
